Spacial relations has always been one of Christopher Horst's biggest strengths. As a youth, Horst drew mazes to challenge friends & was able to beat most people at Tetris. This interest eventually gave way to a passion for typography & design as well. At the early age of 15, he was creating professional-level logos for bands like Estuary, in his hometown of Cincinnati, Ohio. In high school, he started learning the digital application of design, and became quite intrigued with what else computers could offer his creativity.

At age 18, music became the next frontier for Horst, which began with 2 years of playing bass and guitar in and producing for a comedic improv metal band named Technolicious, and programming percussion-driven electronic music under the name Beta Project.  In January of 2003, Horst moved to Boston to attend The School of the Museum of Fine Arts. His time there provided years of collaboration with many fellow musicians and artists, while learning new artforms such as video editing and welding.

After much musical exploration, a thirst to compose serious metal began to emerge in Horst. He decided to apply his acquired musical production knowledge to a one-man studio metal project bearing his name.
In February of '07, the debut album, "Delineating the Lugubrious," was quickly written. That same year, Horst had the personal opportunity to work on a logo for the Boston-based thrash metal band, Razormaze, and he quickly became immersed in logo design once again.

Since beginning in professional graphic design, Horst has accrued over 800 logo clients, worldwide. In addition to being prolific in the metal scene, he has had many oppurtunities to work on other stylistically diverse logo projects, as well. There is much more on the horizon for Horst's artistic endeavors, so keep an eye out & an ear to the ground!
